The City of Middleburg Heights is accepting applications for a full-time Housing Manager in the Building Department. The Housing Manager directs the housing and property maintenance programs, ensures that all buildings conform to the established standards for housing, property maintenance, and supervises assigned employees.
Qualifications: The qualified applicant shall have a combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from a community college or technical school with major course work in engineering or architecture. A four-year degree is highly desirable.
Considerable experience in housing code enforcement and inspections work including supervisory experience is required. A valid Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required. Applicant must be physically able to access all areas of a property and its structures.
General Duties: Develops and implements housing and property maintenance programs; responds to and investigates property maintenance complaints and interpret and apply laws, regulations, and policies.
Salary Range: $30.31- $35.68/hour
