The City of Mentor is seeking a part-time plumbing inspector to work in the Engineering & Building Department. This on-call position will provide field inspections of plumbing installations. Candidates shall possess a current State of Ohio certification for plumbing inspection. Building inspector and residential building inspector is desirable. Excellent customer service skills and the demonstrated proficient use of Microsoft Office computer programs are required.
The ability to multi-task, prioritize work and operate within the established departmental policies and guidelines is necessary. High school graduate (or GED) is required. A valid driver’s license is required. Starting rate of pay: $22.36/hour.
