GENERAL DUTIES: Performs a variety of routine and complex technical work in building inspection to insure that the Ohio Building Code and other related codes and standards are met.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Enforces building related codes, including Ohio Building Code, and local codes such as sprinkling, nuisance, clearing, grading, filling, and zoning, etc. Issues correction notices and citations. Electrical Safety Inspector Certificate , Class III Building Inspector Certification by the State of Ohio a must. Class I Building Official Certification, plumbing certification and mechanical certification a plus.
This is a union position with a starting salary of $59,819.00
