City of Avon has an Opening for a Full-time State Certified Commercial Plumbing Inspector
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
General Duties
Performs field inspections for residential plumbing and commercial plumbing for enforcement of state codes and maintain inspection files and records. Perform other related work as required. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Building Official.
General Qualification
- State of Ohio Commercial Plumbing Certification
- State of Ohio Commercial Building Inspector Certification
- Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License
- Thorough knowledge of State of Ohio Building Codes
- Be able to interact with people in a professional manner on a daily basis
