State Certified Commercial Plumbing Inspector
The City of Avon is seeking a full time State Certified Commercial Plumbing Inspector.
Duties:
Perform field inspections for residential and commercial plumbing for enforcement of state codes and maintain inspection files and records. Perform other related work as required. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Chief Building Official.
Qualifications:
State of Ohio Commercial Plumbing Certification
A Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License
Thorough knowledge of State of Ohio Building Codes
Professional interaction with residents and businesses on a daily basis
All other State of Ohio certifications are optional, but beneficial. Applications must be submitted on the City of Avon’s employment application form with a resume and copies of certifications attached via regular mail, in person or email. The employment application can be found on the city website at www.cityofavon.com or at Avon City Hall.
