The Village of Walton Hills is seeking a part-time zoning inspector to fill an open position for 2-3 days per week, not exceed 30 hours per week. The preferred applicant has prior experience in local municipal zoning code enforcement and documentation, follow-up procedures involved in the typical zoning board of appeals hearing process and legalities of zoning code interpretations. Duties may entail occasional evening board meetings along with the enforcement of all zoning codes and regulations, application reviews, site visits, inspections and needed correspondences related to any zoning issues within the Village of Walton Hills. Salary range for this position is an hourly rate between $16.00 and $21.00 depending on experience and qualifications. No full-time benefits apply to part-time employment.
