Orange Village Building Department Administrative Secretary – Full-time
Orange Village is accepting applications for a full-time Building Department Administrative
Secretary. This position performs high level administrative assistance to the building official,
registers contractors, issues permits, schedules inspections, supports Planning &
Zoning/Architectural Review Board by ensuring all members receive all necessary documents,
attend meetings (two evening meetings per month); take, prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
Excellent oral and written communications skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software
applications is required. Ability to work in an environment characterized by a moderate amount
of interruption and multiple simultaneous tasks. Previous building department experience or
knowledge of construction helpful. Salary will be commensurate with experience and
