The Medina County Board of Commissioners seeks an intermittent Electrical Safety Inspector for the Medina County Building Department. This position also may be expected to perform duties associated with the administration of the Ohio Building Code and Ohio Mechanical Code for Projects located within Medina County.
Qualifications: State of Ohio, Board of Building Standards certification as an Electrical Safety Inspector. Valid Ohio driver’s license with good driving record. Ability to perform inspections on sites that have limited access due to rough grading and various conditions of on-going constructions. Preference will be given to an individual who holds a State of Ohio, Board of Building Standards Certification as a Building Official.
Schedule: As needed
Rate of Pay: To be determined based on experience and qualifications.
