The City of Mayfield Heights is accepting resumes for the position of Aquatics & Community Center Supervisor in the Service Department.
General Responsibilities
Under the general direction of the Assistant Service Director, perform a variety of complex technical and administrative work in the maintenance, repair, service, and management of the Aquatics & Community Center and its grounds operations; responsibilities include, but are not limited to, building and grounds routine, emergency and preventative maintenance, renovations, housekeeping operations, and personnel management.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary or high school education or equivalent (GED); five years or more of related experience in facilities maintenance; building trades or related field; or any combination of training, education, or experience which provides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities.
Licensure or Certification Requirements
Must possess a valid State of Ohio driver’s license, plus must be able to qualify for and remain insurable in accordance with the City vehicle insurance policy. Trade certifications (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) preferred.
Certification as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) is preferred and will be required within one year.
