BUILDING COMMISSIONER
The City of Beachwood is accepting resumes for the position of Full-Time Building Commissioner. This position is responsible for the direction of all activities in the Building Department, including current and advanced planning, zoning, housing, building and code enforcement. Work is performed under the general direction of the Mayor. Must hold a State of Ohio Level 5 CBO (Commercial Building Official) certification. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology or a closely-related field is highly desirable. A working knowledge of municipal government operations is preferred.
