Avon Building Inspector

The City of Avon is seeking a building inspector/Storm Water Management Inspector.

The successful applicant shall possess a minimum of State of Ohio certificates for Class III and Residential Building Inspector.  Additionally, the applicant will be required to be trained in Storm water management.  Special consideration will be given to applicants that possess a CESSWI license.

Duties:

Inspect commercial, industrial and residential buildings.  Additionally, perform storm water management inspections.

Qualifications:

Possess Class III and Residential Building Inspector licenses.

Have good “people” skills. (Must be able to interact with people in a professional manner on a daily basis.)

Be able to perform field inspections.

Possess a valid State of Ohio Driver license.
